On 3rd August 2025, RUH Foundation successfully organized a Women’s Health and Sanitation Drive aimed at empowering women through awareness, hygiene support, and healthcare access. The event took place in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, under the guidance of Adv. Sumaiya Parvin, Founder of RUH Foundation.
The initiative was part of RUH’s ongoing mission to restore upright harmony — ensuring every woman lives with dignity, health, and self-confidence.
🌸 Purpose of the Drive
Women’s health and hygiene are often neglected in underserved communities. Many women lack access to sanitary products, proper facilities, or education about menstrual hygiene.
RUH Foundation took this challenge head-on by organizing a large-scale Sanitation and Health Awareness Drive, focusing on:
- Menstrual Hygiene Education
- Distribution of Sanitary Pads and Hygiene Kits
- Free Health Check-ups by Medical Professionals
- Interactive Sessions on Nutrition and Wellness
💚 Highlights of the Event
Over 300 women and young girls participated in the awareness sessions.
Free sanitary and hygiene kits were distributed to all attendees.
Health professionals and volunteers conducted checkups for anemia, BP, and general wellness.
Discussions were held on taboos and myths surrounding menstruation.
RUH volunteers led engaging talks on maintaining hygiene and emotional well-being.
This drive was not just about providing essentials — it was about creating safe spaces where women could speak openly and learn without fear or shame.
